Do you have experience supporting change management in a large organisation? We are looking for a dynamic Commercial Senior HR Business Partner to join our Human Resource Development (HRD) Commercial Team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Although our office is based in Faringdon, London, the successful candidate can be based nationally with occasional travel required.
  • Reporting directly to the HR Director Commercial, you will work closely with stakeholders in providing support and consultancy in a range of areas. You will utilise data and insights to facilitate conversations with stakeholders, helping to drive the focus and delivery of performance and future planning.
  • Working within Commercial, you will be involved in the ‘engine room’ of our business where real change happens.
  • You will support Senior Leaders to achieve and deliver short-term performance targets, while contributing to the implementation of longer-term strategies.
  • This will involve creating sustainable value through developing People Plans focused on transformational and cultural change across Royal Mail
  • You will lead and support on change management projects, such as TUPE transfers and Merger and Acquisition activity.
  • You will also support with people processes including compensation, performance management and talent acquisition.
  • As part of your role, you will support and coach senior leaders through managing significant IR and ER issues. You will also coach and advise senior leaders to develop high performing teams.

Job Requirements:

  • You will also have a track record for delivering change, and it would be desirable if you have experience supporting a call centre.
  • It is important that you are flexible and have excellent organisation skills, being able to prioritise workloads.
  • We also expect you to have strong MS Office Skills
  • You will have experience working within a large organisation, with a track record for effectively influencing and challenging commercial senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • You will have strong HR technical experience with an understanding of current employment law.
  • You will be degree level qualified, desirably in a relevant discipline. It is also desirable that you are MCIPD qualified.
